Jmusic recommendations ~

Hello, and welcome ! I have no idea what you`re doing here, however. But, I do hope you enjoy yourself. I`m not quite sure what this will be used for yet, so bear with me. I may mix things up a bit, have some things about me in particular or things I`ve discovered, while I may have some things that are things I wrote, like fanfiction. Mostly yaoi, just a warning.

First, I`d just like to say something about. . . music ! Sort of. I knew that an amazing band, RENTRER EN SOI, had broken up back in `08, but I didn`t know that the vocalist, Satsuki, went solo last year. And already has two CDs out. I so have to download his music, because he has an absolutely adorable voice. Even more adorable than that of Miku from AnCafe. Seriously. Don`t believe me ? Go listen to " Vision of You " by RENTRER EN SOI and tell me his voice isn`t more adorable than Miku`s. There`s no comparison there.

If you want a nice, sexy voice to listen to, I recommend listening to Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet-. Their bassist died in August, but that didn`t stop them from continuing on without him. Kamijo`s voice is as sexy as ever. Songs I recommend are " zombie, " " ASCENDEAD MASTER, " and " Shouts && Bites. " All very good songs. And even better than Kamijo is the lead guitarist Hizaki, also from HIZAKI Grace Project, obviously. Just listen to the guitar. . . duet in " ASCENDEAD MASTER. " Hizaki and Teru are an amazing duo. And " Silent Knight, " which is an instrumental. Absolutely beautiful.

Or are you the head - banger type ? Well, Maximum the Hormone. Awesome band. Three of the four members sing. The drummer is my favorite. She has a pop - sounding voice. Yep, the drummer`s a girl. Everyone else is a guy. Unlike Versailles and HIZAKI Grace Project, where EVERYONE is a guy, believe it or not. Even Hizaki. But back to Maximum the Hormone. Anyone watch the Death Note anime back in the day ? Well, they did the season two opening and ending themes. But my favorite song by them is called " Bu ikkikaesu. "

They too jumpy and high - pitched at times for you ? Dir en Grey is the way to go. Their new stuff is not as heavy as their old stuff, but they`re amazing. But if you don`t like the sight of blood, don`t watch any live stuff. Kyo, the vocalist, rips open the insides of his cheeks and lets them bleed during concerts. I saw it once on DVD and promised myself never again. I do listen to their music, though. A friend of mine and I are going to make a horror special for a group of videos he and friends make based on the intro to their song " Berry. " Go listen to it and be afraid. I like repeating it over and over, it`s so fun.

Want techno ? Polysics. You know, " Domo Arigatou, Mister Roboto " ? That`s them. Though I don`t often listen to them, I like their song " Electric Surfin` Go Go. " That, and the song we all know except for the fact that they sing it and they`re Japanese. Like, I always thought that song was from some American who wanted to be Japanese, or something like that. But no, it`s by a Japanese techno group. Very cool, though.

I could keep going on and on with Japanese music, but I won`t. Just list a few more artists I recommend : Gackt, Nightmare, SuG, Ayabie, alice nine., Kagrra,, Girugamesh, Miyavi, T.M.Revolution. And although he`s not Japanese : Wang Lee - Hom. Amazing, I tell you. He performed at the end of the Beijing Olympics, singing " Beijing, Beijing, I Love Beijing " and " One World, One Dream. " His song " Last Night " is amazing, though kinda stalker - ish. Some of his music is in English, some in Japanese, most of it`s in Mandarin Chinese. Also, watch the movie Moon Child on dramacrazy.net. It stars Japanese singers Gackt and HYDE, as well as Wang Lee - Hom, the Taiwanese - American.
